Definitely bright-eyed, yellow-headed Amy Poehler — not only because she would be hilarious — but for all she’s done to motivate young women to embrace their smarts and power and to not accept the status quo when it comes to gender norms.
What motivates you to create social impact?
Once I understood how my privilege makes me complicit in various forms of institutionalized oppression, I knew I had to fight to dismantle those systems.

Host Site Project
Alyssa will serve on the Communications team of the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, focusing on marketing, public relations and event planning. Alyssa will support the Humphrey School communications focusing on four key areas: online communications development, website management and support, communications channel management, and event support. Alyssa will collaborate with the communications director and the rest of the team to develop and execute social media content and strategies, write content across platforms, assess reach and effectiveness using analytics, and maintain useful contact databases to support the Humphrey’s work.
