The SEA-Chicago Fellow will work with the Board of Directors to grow and empower the social enterprise community in Chicago and Illinois. The Fellow will have the opportunity to shape the social enterprise sector and contribute to the improvement of the city and state by focusing on four areas — Membership, Marketing, Programming, Education, and Fundraising (max 10% of time in this area) – to add capacity and strengthen the organization. Priorities during the 2015-2016 Fellowship will include: the development of membership playbook with a calendar of annual recruitment activities; technical assistance and project management for a new, enhanced website; development of processes and procedures to ensure successful educational and community programming; creation of a training curriculum; and supporting the development and implementation of a scorecard for the board of directors. The Fellow may assist with other board projects and initiatives that related to these priorities as well.
