Host Site Project

Peer Health Exchange (“PHE”), is a national non-profit organization that works to provide teenagers with the knowledge and skills they need to make healthy decisions. We do this by training college students to teach a skills-based health curriculum in public high schools that lack comprehensive health education. Since our founding in 2003, we have trained more than 7,500 college student volunteers to deliver effective health education to nearly100,000 public high school students in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Washington D.C. The primary responsibilities of the Chicago Program Fellow will be to create processes to streamline and strengthen program management and operations, as well as oversee data collection and evaluation as PHE concludes our two-year summative study. The Chicago Program Fellow will report directly to the Chicago Program Director and work closely with the entire Chicago team.
