If you could have dinner with 1 person who you regard as a leader, who would it be and why?

Besides the ostentatious food and wine we would undoubtably dine upon, I would love to spend time with Game of Thrones’ secret protagonist: Tyrion Lannister. Underestimated and unappreciated, Tyrion leads without anyone’s permission.

What motivates you to create social impact?

If there are things I can do that combat structural inequality, I should probably do them!

Host Site Project

The New Sector Fellow will focus on Program Development and Delivery, specifically developing and implementing projects at the YMCA’s youth programming locations. This position works with YMCA Leadership Programs serving young people from middle school to college aged. The University Y is the hub for the programs that run throughout the Y of the Greater Twin Cities. The 4 core programs include Leader’s Club, Y’s Start, Youth in Government and Multicultural Achievers. The locations include YMCA Branch sites as well as other program sites. Most programs run after school and evenings, so candidates should be prepared to work some evening hours and occasional weekends. The fellow will focus on three areas–firstly on direct service with youth participants; secondly on operations-oriented tasks including data collection/management and marketing/outreach, and thirdly on curriculum development and design. The fellow will create standard curriculum and standardized protocols around data management and outreach, allowing the YMCA to expand and improve our programming.
