If you could have dinner with 1 person who you regard as a leader, who would it be and why?

Jesus Christ; I want to learn the truths within the Abrahamic religions from him, and hear what advice he has to offer about how to foster world peace.

What motivates you to create social impact?

The beautiful phenomena I call the “Smile Snowball Effect”: when you make one person smile, and that makes the people around them smile, and so on and so forth.

Managing the Solar Ambassador Program and retreat. The Solar Ambassador Program is a year-long academic fellowship for college students to lead a solar project. Student teams from five to seven universities and colleges across the country have applied to spearhead a solar energy installation for a nonprofit or co-op near their campus. To prepare the student team leaders for the fellowship, RE-volv hosts an in-person, overnight, three-day retreat in July in Point Reyes, California. At the retreat, RE-volv staff will teach and present to the ambassadors about solar policy and finance, project management, leadership, stakeholder engagement, crowdfunding, and event planning. This position will be responsible for coordinating the three-day schedule, updating the PowerPoint presentations, creating supplemental material, communicating with the Solar Ambassadors about logistics, coordinating plane flights and transportation, communicating with the venue about pricing and logistics. After the retreat, this position will need to manage retreat follow-up. The executive director will also need support with ongoing Solar Ambassador webinars, general communication with teams, and administrative and communications/social media assistance.
