If you could have dinner with one person you regard as a leader, who would it be and why?
Beth Drexler, coordinator of the Peace and Justice program at Michigan State University. She has life experiences around the world focused in intervention and peace building strategies. She is well-written and currently gives back through her students at MSU. I would love to pick her mind on different projects she has been a part of.
If you could create your own social enterprise, what would it be and why?
I would create a social enterprise that focused on creating youth that are self-sufficient in navigating their own finances through classes, empowerment projects, and mentorship. Financial stability is a key factor in assessing options for higher education, professional growth, and their overall life goals. I think a lot of organizations are too late in intervening and that as early as middle school youth should be proactive about their financial goals and become educated on saving, budgeting, etc.
