Host Site Project

Year Up envisions a future in which every urban young adult will have access to the education, experiences, and guidance required to realize his or her true potential. Our mission is to close the Opportunity Divide by providing urban young adults with the skills, experience, and support that will empower them to reach their potential through professional careers and higher education. As Year Up Bay Area continues to grow, we are looking to build new capacity around our engagement with Alumni. In order to make sure our impact on participants is sustained, we’ll be building out many new systems and services, including a curriculum covering careers after YU, and a more robust Alumni Association The Alumni Engagement Fellow will assist Year Up in planning and executing ongoing programming for Alumni including communications, training and systems for long term sustainability. By focusing on the success of our Alumni, we can ensure that program learning are carried with them into their careers.
