YouthTruth Student Survey harnesses student perceptions to help educators accelerate improvements in their K-12 schools and classrooms. Through our validated survey instruments and tailored advisory services, YouthTruth partners with schools, districts, states, and educational organizations to enhance learning for all students. We are a small and dynamic team based in San Francisco CA, and we function as an incubated start-up within The Center for Effective Philanthropy. Our culture is highly productive, thoughtful, and fast-paced, and we value a keen eye for detail and a sense of humor. To build on our deep work harnessing student voices for school improvement, YouthTruth seeks a highly motivated, organized, and analytical Research Fellow to: 1) Help develop, pilot, and bring to market companion parent and staff surveys, — helping schools and districts solicit critical stakeholder feedback in a rigorous way to enhance their improvement efforts. 2) Contribute to an emerging research agenda, drawing on our existing data set from hundreds of thousands of students to share key findings on topics such as school culture and college and career readiness. By supporting product development (parent and staff survey), the Fellow will deepen impact for our clients by helping district partners gather critical feedback from multiple stakeholders in a rigorous way to enhance their improvement efforts. By supporting research opportunities, the Fellow will help build field-wide knowledge and influence.
