If you could have dinner with 1 person who you regard as a leader, who would it be and why?

I would love to have dinner with Angela Davis because her treatises on gender, race, and class completely transformed my understanding of myself and society at large.

What motivates you to create social impact?

Witnessing and experiencing injustice compels me to learn more about systemic oppression in our society and fight for equality through social impact.

Host Site Project

Habitat for Humanity is one of the most well know charitable organizations. Their goal is to provide affordable housing to those in need. Since being founded in 1976, Habitat has served more than 4 million people globally by helping build or repair over 800,000 houses. One of the ways Habitat works to support families in Boston is through condo associations. The Fellow will support the effectiveness and efficiency of Habitat for Humanity’s condo management and homeowner resource programs in an effort to better serve the community of Habitat Homeowners in the Greater Boston area. To that end, the fellow will work to increase the effectiveness of condo management among Habitat-managed and homeowner-managed condo associations. Additionally, the Fellow will develop a new data-driven case for support of the Habitat model based on recent homeowner survey results, create tools to communicate the results externally, and further strengthen Habitat?s ability to connect applicants and homeowners to available community resources.
