If you could have dinner with 1 person who you regard as a leader, who would it be and why?
I would chose to have dinner with Malcolm X because he is one of the few leaders in history whose words continue to empower many people throughout the world.
What motivates you to create social impact?
Experiencing, witnessing, and understanding the social realities of my community and of other people of color in the US, as well as the realities of other minority groups throughout the world, like the Roma people in Europe, obligates me to create social impact.

Host Site Project
Northside Funders Group is actively thinking about evaluation and performance measurement for our programs. Our New Sector Fellow will focus on developing an organization-wide evaluation system. More specifically, our Fellow will focus on unifying the evaluation processes for our three priority focus areas (Building Thriving Learning Communities, Building Social Capital, and Building Thriving Economies). During this year the Fellow will work with our Executive Director to understand the existing evaluation processes that exist in our three focus areas, develop a system to unify those processes, identify and operationalize indicators of success (and progress), build systems for measuring those indicators, and compile baseline data for use in future evaluations. Our fellow will also partner with our Executive Director to focus on adult programming as part of our new Cradle-To-Grave “Living Cities” partnership.
