If you could have dinner with 1 person who you regard as a leader, who would it be and why?
Gloria Anzaldúa, because her powerful prose challenges us all to think beyond the constraints of social and political boundaries.
What motivates you to create social impact?
I am motivated by the desire to be part of something bigger than myself. While tackling systemic inequalities is a daunting task, I believe that on a local level I can combat oppression through participating in community projects.

Host Site Project
The New Sector Fellow position will support efforts to expand the current capacity of our data and systems management infrastructure. Our newly developed data and systems management aims to integrate supportive services with workforce development with the goal to provide a comprehensive understanding of the self-sufficiency pathway our clients engage that produce long-term results. The work entailed will include applying a collective impact approach that will reflect a shared common agenda (i.e., purpose and results desired); ensure data and evidence-based decision making; promote collaborative action/response and guarantee continued investment and sustainability. The collective impact approach will be grounded on CHP’s recent theory of action work and will entail development of complementary systems, including the adaptation of new modules, enhancements to existing modules, and syncing platforms to ensure data accuracy. In addition to systems enhancements, this internship will develop new evaluation tools for analyzing performance metrics and producing data reporting requirements.
