If you could have dinner with 1 person who you regard as a leader, who would it be and why?

I would love to be a guest at dinner with the Obamas and ask them how they continue to persevere in such grace under pressure. Also you know the soundtrack would be on point.

What motivates you to create social impact?

The knowledge that there are many individuals more motivated by personal gain than by contributing to the greater good inspires me to follow my passions and continue to give back. I am motivated by focusing on creating positive change and feeding off of the energy of other passionate people.

SEA’s mission is to produce massive social value via successful social enterprises, we accomplish this by providing engaged social entrepreneurs and enterprises access to current information, tools, and other resources that address the unique needs of social enterprises. Consequently, we believe our greatest value proposition lies in building the capacity of the Chicago metropolitan social enterprise community. In this instance, we are defining capacity building as continual process of improvement, adaptability, and sustainability to execute a social innovation or mission within an individual, organization, institution, or service provider network.
