f you could have dinner with 1 person who you regard as a leader, who would it be and why?
I would want to have dinner with Yuri Kochiyama to talk with her about world-building and consciousness-raising, because I am inspired by her words and work, and understanding history and the legacy of community elders gives me motivation.
Describe in 1 sentence, what motivates you to create social impact?
I firmly believe that the more I know, the more I owe to my communities and those I strive to stand in solidarity with. I know that a more equitable and just world is possible — socially, ecologically, economically — and I want to do what I can to work towards that.
