The New Sector Summer Fellowship matches Fellows with short-term internships at mission-driven organizations to bring a human centered approach to project planning and implementation. Fellows take part in three months of training to support them as they complete meaningful projects for their organizations, while simultaneously investing in self assessment, reflection, career planning, skill building, mentoring relationships, networking, and other forms of professional development to engender a lifelong commitment to mission-driven work. The Summer program gives Fellows the tools to deliver high-quality project deliverables now, while preparing them for success in the future of work.
The Summer and Senior Summer program, combines New Sector’s Social Impact Leadership curriculum and with a new project management methodology that emphasizes human centered design.

“The most valuable part of my Fellowship experience was the network of people. New Sector provided an excellent network of resources and empowered me to take direction and control of my career. Thanks to New Sector's support, I committed to the social sector and feel prepared to take on leadership roles."
