
Carly Janson
Carly founded New Sector in 2000 and served as CEO until 2013. She re-joined the organization in 2017. In addition to her current role with New Sector as a Senior Advisor, Carly currently serves as a director in the Career Management Center at Stanford Graduate School of Business, where she oversees career development for MBA and mid-career students. Carly started her career in management consulting, serving clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to large nonprofits to public sector agencies. Her professional experience also includes serving as a co-founder of the Social Impact Practice at The Boston Consulting Group and an adjunct faculty member at Harvard University. Carly has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in economics, magna cum laude, from Princeton University. Carly’s hobbies include running, skiing, and spending time with her husband and two children.
