2025 Leadership Longevity Convening

Overview

Celebrate the kickoff of New Sector Alliance’s 25th anniversary as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit during this special weekend gathering. Designed for current program participants, alumni, and supporters, this intimate and transformative in-person event will convene members of New Sector’s dynamic network of mission-driven leaders, alumni, and philanthropic partners from across sectors.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Connect with inspiring peers and mission-driven leaders across sectors

  • Engage in meaningful learning experiences

  • Participate in optional wellness and community-building activities

We encourage you to take full advantage of this convening by planning a summer getaway to refresh and recharge after the event concludes.

  • Friday, August 1st | 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
    Kickoff Reception and Dinner

    • 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM: Check-in and Mingling

    • 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM: Opening Session and Kickoff Reception

    • 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Dinner

    Saturday, August 2nd | 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM
    Full Day of Programming (including Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Optional Wellness and Community-Building Activities)

    • 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Optional Morning Wellness Activities

    • 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Morning Sessions

    • 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Lunch and Wellness Break

    • 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM: Afternoon Sessions

    • 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM: Wellness Break

    • 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM: Off-Site Harbour Cruise/Dinner /Community-Building Event

    Breakfast, Wrap-Up Programming, and Lunch

    • 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Optional Morning Wellness Activities

    • 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Closing Session

Costs

Thanks to the generous support of a private family foundation and The Boston Foundation, New Sector Alliance is pleased to fully cover all programming, staffing, and event costs for this special convening. We are actively seeking sponsors for food, beverage, and wellness activities and are optimistic that these costs will also be completely covered.

We know that nonprofit leaders often face financial barriers to participating in events like this, and we are committed to making this gathering accessible to all. There is no registration fee to attend, and programming costs have been eliminated through the generosity of our partners.

Attendees are responsible for their travel to and from Boston, as well as securing local accommodations. To make your stay more convenient, we’ve partnered with The Boston Foundation to reserve a room block at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel directly across from the retreat’s primary venue.
