Vera Hannush

Vera Hannush (they/them) has over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit world. They currently serve as the Director of Philanthropy at Alameda Health System Foundation, the nonprofit arm supporting the patient- and family-centered safety net health system for all of Alameda County. They have previously served as Bay Area Development Officer at Covenant House California and Director of Grantmaking at Taube Philanthropies. They are a Board Member of Oaklash, the Bay Area Drag Festival, and Creative Director of Drag Story Hour Bay Area. They are the founder-facilitator of COPED (Children of Parents with Eating Disorders). They received their Master's in Classics from UC Berkeley. They reside in Oakland with their spouse.
