The Possible Zone

Stefana Soitos is committed to reimagining the K-12 and post-secondary education and workforce system so that it equitably serves all young people.  She is currently the senior director of career and college pathways at The Possible Zone, a non-profit in Boston dedicated to helping young people shape their futures as lifelong learners and empowering them to pursue innovative careers in the future. Stefana holds a BA in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from UMass Amherst and an MPA from Cornell University. Over her career, she has worked in NYC at City College, leading professional development workshops for Colin Powell School students, in upstate NY at Cornell, advising students pursuing internships and hands-on, experiential learning opportunities abroad and domestically, and most recently in Lowell, at Middlesex Community College, leading the Biotech Learn and Earn program - an innovative approach to working in and getting a certificate in biotech.  Stefana enjoys hiking and visiting National Parks with her wife and their dog, Lupin.
